I was an over the road owner operator trucker and driver for over 6 years finishing in August 2016 with over 800,000 SAFE miles.

I have earned a 500,000 safe mile driver award from OOIDA. The Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association.
Most recently, I was the national fleet fuel manager with an Atlanta based national retail carrier.
I managed the fuel/def/terminal pump equipment, for 2000 power units and 22 terminals across the country. It has been a blessing and a privilege to witness breathtaking sunsets in the high desert in New Mexico.

then headed back 3300 miles,
to the East coast.
I saw the hop trellises
in the Cascade Valley.
The Emerald green
potato fields of Idaho.
The soothing desert Earth tones
all around me coming into
El Paso from New Mexico.
The verdant green of the great
Smokey Mountain forests through
the Carolinas and Tennessee.
I have picked up loads of
Molybdenum ore at historic Climax mine in the
Rockies at 11,360 feet high
with snow on the ground in June.
I have risen fully loaded at 40 tons,
to the crest of a terrifying 13% downhill grade
in the Appalachians, driven in blinding treacherous ice storms in Dallas, and freak April snowstorms in Ohio.
I have been, humbled, by nature as it tossed me around, in tornado force winds in Tornado Alley in the Midwest, down to TX
I averaged 11,500 miles a month through my 6 year career across this great land of ours.

I worked at Ford, Norfolk Assembly plant in Norfolk, VA for 11 years. I was the PM work group leader in the largest work zone in the plant. E-Coat-Phosphate-Sealer in the Paint Dept. We made the vaunted F150 truck until they closed the plant in the Summer of 2007.
I earned my Six Sigma Green Belt certification through the successful sealer loss project realizing savings to Ford well over $1,000,000.
